On the night of the 26th of November 2025, the Ilunion Pío XII Hotel in Madrid hosted the Iberquimia 2025 Awards ceremony, organised by Infoedita Comunicación Profesional and the magazine Industria Química.
The aim of this gala is to recognise companies and research groups that drive innovation, sustainability and excellence within the chemical sector in Spain.
NOB166® was granted the Iberquimia 2025 Award for Technological Innovation. Our CEO, Noelia Beltrán, received the award, which highlights the work we are doing to bring antimicrobial solutions closer to critical environments such as healthcare.
Specifically, the Iberquimia 2025 Award for Technological Innovation recognises our technology applied at the Dr José Molina Orosa University Hospital (Lanzarote).
NOB166 Protect Clothes Laundry is the ready-to-use product currently used at Molina Orosa Hospital. Thanks to this solution, which is added directly during the washing process, hospital textiles remain protected for up to 7 days after washing, providing an active barrier against potential vectors of contagion and reinforcing safety for patients and healthcare professionals.
By using our product in a healthcare environment, we help to strengthen infection prevention in bed linen, uniforms and other high-contact textiles. In addition, maintaining protection between washing cycles is essential in an environment where the movement of patients and professionals is constant. Click here to read the interview published in Tribuna de Canarias, in which Dr Camilo García explains why Molina Orosa Hospital has incorporated NOB166 technology and why he considers it particularly useful in healthcare settings.
For NOB166®, this acknowledgement confirms our vision: to use chemical innovation to offer long-lasting antimicrobial solutions that can be easily integrated into existing industrial processes.

The Iberquimia Award received by NOB166 comes alongside other distinctions that reflect the diversity of challenges currently being addressed by the chemical industry:
Awarded in the Sustainability and Environment category for its GreenMetrics tool, an application for the automated calculation of the carbon footprint.
Part of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials at the Complutense University of Madrid, recognised for Excellence in Research and Development for its work on the use of nanobubbles in quaternary treatments.
Recognised in the Social Impact category for its Student Internship Programme, which promotes youth employability and brings future engineers closer to the reality of the process industry.
At NOB166® we would like to extend our congratulations to all of them. Sharing the stage at the Iberquimia 2025 Awards with companies and research groups of this calibre reinforces the idea that chemistry is a key driver in addressing challenges such as sustainability, health protection and industrial transformation.
This recognition strengthens our commitment to:
Receiving the Iberquimia 2025 Award for Technological Innovation is a source of pride for the entire NOB166® team and, at the same time, an extra motivation to keep moving forward and innovating.
