Solution C- Preservatives for Cosmetics
Solution C acts as an ingredient and/or preservative for cosmetics (creams, shampoos, lotions, etc.), helping to preserve the product during its shelf life. In addition, it inhibits the growth and proliferation of microorganisms.
The presence of preservatives in cosmetic products prevents changes in the product appearance, smell, colour and texture. The function of preservatives is to guarantee the quality of cosmetics during their time of use.
Application of our cosmetic additive
The cosmetic product that contains Solution C within its formulation (both as a preservative or as an active ingredient in cosmetics) contributes to maintaining and ensuring the functions for which they have been made. The final product made with Solution C as one of the cosmetic ingredients protects against the appearance of microorganisms that can damage the cosmetic. This additive prevents its decomposition.
Our preservatives for cosmetic products keep natural silver stable in an alkaline medium, which is suitable for neutral or slightly acid cosmetic preparations, similar to the pH of the skin. Other silver compositions are stable only in highly acidic media, ours can be applied in many more neutral cosmetic bases. Likewise, silver as an asset is not volatile. It is much more permanent than other organic assets. Very active at low concentration, moreover, it is not cumulative.
Base of our preservative for cosmetic products
Natural silver is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent whose efficacy has been proven against the following microorganisms: as E. coli, Legionella, Pseudomonas, Salmonella, S. aureus, A. niger, etc. For this reason, it can be used in many applications to maintain and protect the good condition of the skin, as a compound used as a cosmetic preservative, avoiding the use of other non-recommended ingredients (eg parabens, etc.).
